through Downtown Asheville, River Art District Pisgah National Forest and Blue Ridge Parkway

Day Trippin' in Asheville, River Arts District and more….
Auto and walking tour, craft breweries and French Broad Chocolate Lounge UMMM Good

This is YOUR day. Treat yourself as you sit back and relax and let me show you the best of Asheville and River Arts District. First, we will take an easy walk to four distinctly different galleries in the River Arts District. Listen to history and see pictures of how it used to look over 100 years ago. Talk to the owners.

We will have lunch at one of our specialty restaurants in our downtown. We have all ethnicities so you get your choice.

We will then take an easy walk thru the downtown talking about the famous people who have and still live here, the unique culture of this special place, the amazing history, and the fantastic architecture of many of our downtown buildings. Asheville has the second largest display of art-deco in America. We will visit world class art and photos galleries like you have never seen before.

We will end up at a chocolate lounge serving the best chocolate in the East or one of our craft breweries. Asheville is the craft brewery Capital of America.

Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, and Waterfalls

This is the ultimate in Blue Ridge Parkway and pleasure experiences

Treat yourself to the unparalleled beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I will pick you up from your lodging and we will drive along the most beautiful section of the Blue Ridge Mountain. You will experience 60 miles scenic views on clear days. See Georgia and South Carolina from one of our stops. We will drive to a beautiful waterfall located right beside the road so there is no hiking here. We also offer a short walk to the site of George Vanderbilts Buckspring Lodge. While the building are no longer there I will tell you where George Vanderbilt stood when he looked out across the Blue Ridge Mountains. This tour last between 3-4 hours but this time can be adjusted to fit your schedule.

Let us create memorable experiences that will make you want to come back time and time again. Excellent for Seniors or those who want to sit back and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We are from all over the country on a seminar in Asheville and were looking for something to do during a break. Happily we found Walk With Me Tours which we highly recommend. George is fun and a great guide. Will do it again when we are back in town. Can’t wait.
